The winning formula of IMF which stands for INVITE, MEET and FOLLOW-UP will help you build strong teams and solid foundations.
Every person you meet is someone you can invite to an IFA Presentation but they may not have the same goals as you. Think about the type of people you want in your team. Before you invite someone, consider whether they would be able to pay the IFA business fee and premium, be committed to working hard and helping you help others. Write down all the people you can invite to join you in IFA.
This is called a prospect list. The best prospects include friends, relatives, neighbours, social groups and people you work with.
Successful IFAs meet with their prospects and attend IFA Presentations with them. As an IFA, you should be attending Presentations every week with potential new IFAs and encouraging your new team members to do the same. Presentations are ‘training’ opportunities so by attending more than one Presentation you will gain more knowledge about IFA.
A good introducer always follows-up with his or her team (downline). Following-up means that you need to check on your new IFAs every week and make sure that they are doing what you are doing… inviting new prospects every day. You also want to make sure that they understand how IFA works and keep them motivated. When you follow-up, you are working towards building new earners in your downline.
